Ana Silva ...who is she?
Ana Silva is an award winning actress, writer, and comedian from Portland, OR (the cool Portland) who is based in Chicago, Illinois. After attending AMDA: The College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles and New York, Ana moved to Chicago to study comedy. As a writer and performer, Ana co-wrote and starred in the short film Speeding Towards Red Lights and helped write, direct, and perform in In-Diana (Best Web Series 2021 - London International Short Film and Web Series Festival). An ALTA Award winner for Outstanding Improviser in Chicago (2018), she was previously an understudy for The Second City's National Touring Company and is currently a teacher at both iO Chicago and The Second City. Runner-Up for Best Stage Actor in Chicago (Chicago Reader - 2021), she has performed in theatres across the Chicagoland area.
